Title: wizkid or brutejock?
Post by: shorty13 on March 05, 2005, 02:58:55 pm
When more spells and weapons/armor come out, what will you guys be.  A wizard or a fighter? How bout when other abilities come out (like pickpocket, backstab = rogue)?

I think I will be a wizard, and then go to the theives with my immense power.   :)

in many games(including everquest), magic seems to be good only at a distance whereas strength can kill upclose.

My dream was to become a wizard too but now it seems like a joke. I am sure that it\'ll pass a long time before a wizard can really be a wizard and even longer till I\'ll be able to accurately roleplay a bad wizard.

Current version is a little less boring than the previous one. Now you can collect experience instead of crystals. But still I had lots of fun dueling with some fighters who thought I\'ll actually stand and wait for them to cut me in 2. If I didn\'t lagged so much it would have been even more funnyer :P. Yeah the game promisses a lot as usulal but you have to wait a long time as usual.... Maybe some time I\'ll get used to it ;).

I would like to be a fighter and my weapon of choice would be the classical swords or, if there is any chance of it, katanas. :D lol

Hopefully there will be a reasonable way to be an illusionist.  I mean, magic disguises could change the whole face of the game.

A assasin, I will take up Ice mage as a secondary skill just to use frost as a smoke bomb ^^.

Hmmm, tough question. I agree with Huxley who said: \"a great man (or Klyros in my case) must know something of everything and everything of something\"

So, I think I\'ll try to be a very versatile ranger-type: magic, swords, etc. but when they are implemented, I want to be the best bowman out there...Ooooh, magic arrows...hehehe

I was reading and just had to post this.

I think sarrow wtih his smoke bomb idea is very inventive.  I also like the ranger idea. :)    Good stuff.

So who else?
