Hey,
I\'m new. I have made a character and when i click on \"upload\" to the laanx server i get a loading screen coming up. On this screen it says \"requesting world\" then \"loading world\" and beneath that \"Sever MOTD: blablabalabala\".
anyhoo, i can\'t get beyond this screen. it won\'t load

Shot in the Dark. Have you updated the game yet?
To do that go to C:/program files/PlaneShift Crystal Blue file inside that file you will find the updater. Run that a couple of times.
When I first installed the game 3 days ago I had to run the installer 3 times. I was prompted to run the installer for the second time, the third time I just did it to make certain I got everything - and sure enough the 3rd time it installed more \"stuff\"
In that file you will also find a Set-Up Icon which allows you to adjust the settings, such as going full screen instead of windowed. There are also linking icons to the Guide and the main site.
Let us know if this worked.

ive done it twice so yeah ill try it again. thanks :)

yeah i was able to get in thanks but the laoding time was about 10 minutes. then everything was black... a few mins later i became bright again but it was really slow. i walked a few meters and then the server went link dead.
pointless.

You encountered the black bug - everybody (so I wager) suffers it
Link Dead, get used to it - that happens a lot too. There are several issues as well, bugs.
But then this is not a complete game, this is phase two or phase three of an on going project.
They are working on solutions to the issues as I write.
