every time i play i run the updater so i have the newest files okay so i should be able to play right wrong every time i try to play it gets to the character select then it says that something unexpected has happened and it has to close it asks if i want to save a diagnostic file then it closes and it does this every time i have not been able to play in a week and i even uninstalled then installed then even redownloaded the game but it still wont work please help me

me 2, evry time i try and log in it crashes, ive redownloaded the game twice, and updated it every time. any ideas?

Same here but this happend to me before and it stared working agian after the next version of the updater came out.

Have you tried changing the sound options in the setup?  I had this problem when I started, and had to mess with the settings to get it to run without crashing.

judging by all of the posts about people updating and then not being able to get on to planeshift, im thinking that maybe i shouldn\'t update until further notice.. ive already updated to 1.0.2.4 and i got the spell sounds, and oja road works now... do you think i should run the updater or not???

Its there to be run every few days...but hey..not my decision here..just a reminder on my part.
