i wasn\'t sure should i post that here or in the guilds forum. However because this guild doesn\'t exist i decided to post it here
It would be a very RP guild whose members\' only duty would be to always have someone behind the counter. Offering drinks and listening/providing stories. They could be tipped with actual tria. instead of \'/me tips bartender\'. Of course there would be a barmaid rank in the guild ..barmaid\'s job would be tp bring food from kitchen to the tired/lazy customers. Barmaid would sell the food at somewhat higher price...maybe 1 tria more....
Of course there is an argument that noone would want to roleplay a barmaid....but then again....why not. It would be a good job for newcommers who don\'t want to earn their first tria by killing rats.
Oh and i hope that there\'s never a barman NPC.... you just can\'t replace a barman with anykind of AI

Well there is one in Broken Doors tavern. But if I see NPC behind my bar, some dev will see me whining a lot :|
Oh yea, good idea and good luck... as long as I won\'t have to listen to Phinehas whining that I hire barkeeps who have no idea of tavern setting :\\

Its a good idea...
And really..noone touches my bar! *looks at kada stare at him*
P.S. Kixie a waitress...i just cant imagine that...

An organization of bartenders, oh my..

Erm, this guild exists.
The guild is called \"Bartender\" and I cheekily gave myself the rank \"Head of bartenders Assc.\"
There is a barmaid rank in Bartender also (and has been since day 1). I\'ve been playing the Bartender in Kada-Els for a few weeks now. Just ask Valbrandr, Sarrow Seperot or Draklar to name a few...
incidentally, Rosemarie the Enki made a guild called Barmaid

cool
here are few suggestions:
recruit new people for the lower jobs
keep the structure as loose as possible just like in real life...very few people make baretending their carreer but quite a lot did it. Your guild membership should fluctuate.
i had a few more ideas about it....but i am to sleepy to remember them
