Title: Races for newbies?

which race do you guys think is the best for a beginning player? many newbies choose from the \"looking cool\" aspect!

None are best. Different races currently just affect your starting stats, all of which can be trained up later.

Pick a character that you want to be, not which will level uber fastest and make you king of PvP. Think about your character\'s personality, their strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes. Make up a history for him, and finally think of a name that suits him and suits the world of Yliakum.

Yep, that depends on wich type of player u wanna be. If u wanna be a mage maybe its better if u chose a Xacha; if u wanna be a warrior maybe a dwarf or Ylian. In any case I advise u to go here (http://www.planeshift.it/setting_races.html) .

yeah i saw that page before i ever played, so i was good. i knew which one i wanted. I think you guys thought i was asking what \'I\' should pick. i was asking just for any new person, but that question was also answered. Lol im no soooo noobish that i dont read the guides before playing a game ;)
