I understand spanish is a language name but latino american ... is it possible that some people who arent spanish or latino american belong to your guild?

This is just a question and I dont want to create trouble by asking it.

I hate the idea of guilds that segregate themselves from the rest of the community like this. If your guild has a requirement that members are Spanish or Latin-American, then I wish you good luck, because I honestly don\'t think it\'ll last.

Not a flame- but a harsh critisism.

I agree; I have no problem with exclusiveness based on roleplay reasons but based solely on language seems.. kind of aimless.

I\'d expect a guild that\'s sole premise is to have, say, all swahiili speaking members to be nothing more than a clan of people who as a whole aren\'t really part of the community. I think it should be mandatory that all guilds have a roleplay base at some point. If this guild was based on the premise that some travellers had arrived here enchanted and speaking a language few understood, that coincidentally and remarkably sounded just like spanish you can imagine they might find more credability as a serious guild than the \"Spanish Latinamerican guild\"... In the Planeshift world as it stands what is Spanish? What is Latin? What is this odd place called \"America\"? None of these things exist.

Meh, IMO.

this is only a project i only want to give spanish speakers an oportunity to be in planeshift , of course we will roleplay whith all the comunity beacause most of spanish speakers know a little of ingles ( i know that beacause im from madrid ) , everybody can of course join this guild but they need to understand or speak a little spanish beacause if not they arent going to understand us.

i have an idea about spanish language in planeshift , it can be a very old lenguage that enkidukais  invented to speak at wars , when they dont want the enemy soldiers to understand it.

In that case i dont think a lot of people will agree with u. Having sapanish like an old language speaked by endukais at wars dont work. Do u imagine ppl in game saying: \"hey i speak spanish so i\'m a better endukai then u\" or even \"hey i\'m son of lengendary endukais\" ?
Of course thats is not what u were thinking, but things like that could happen.

Really mate? And what about the guilds that accept only one race?  ;)

Anyway, such a guild like this one, it\'s just something a community doesn\'t need. Glest, don\'t want to be mean, I know your intentions are good, that maybe you want to gather people with less knowledge in English from this community, that are more proficient in Spanish, but people like that you won\'t find, from the simple reason PlaneShift is an English game after all, I mean, at some point, you have to know it. So, why complicating things?
