Title: What is some peoples problem?
Post by: Hatchnet on March 23, 2005, 08:49:46 am
I was over at the ojaroad tefusangs trying to earn back a little bit of tria cost me by a glitch and this, well lets just say he was a member of the destroyers guild, comes over to me and starts challenging me. After I refused several times he started luring the two stronger tefusangs over to were I was getting them to attack me and finally succeded in getting me killed when he managed to get one over while I was engaged with one of the other tefusangs. What is sad about all this is that we were the only two people there and I was only useing two out of six of the tefusangs. Is a training spot realy that important to some people or do they simply refuse to let some one play in peace.

If there are jerks in the real world there is a quarentee that there will be jerks in an online fantasy world. This is something that can\'t be easily solved, so please learn to accept this.

You should have asked a GM to sort it out, if there was one ingame at the time.

I think there\'s a comand /report (player name) created for things like this one.

Am I the only one who thinks this is pathetic whining and that there\'s nothing wrong with getting other people killed in ways that aren\'t abusing the game? If you walk into a room full of Tefusangs, then you\'re taking your life in your hands.

In fact, it\'s almost good RP to do something like that... sicking Tefusangs on an enemy that\'s ignoring you.

In other mmorpg\'s, \"training\" is often a banable offence. So it should be taken seriously. If it continues, contact a GM like Xordan said.

I don\'t think he did anything wrong, just perhaps a bit mean... Look at this in a roleplaying way; when he\'s online (I think there\'s a command /online or something that gives you all the names of those online) get a large group together and challenge him...hehehe

Agreed.

Remember you can stop challenge-spammers by setting \"always decline\" in your Options menu.

There will always be people like this in the game. There\'s a whole group of them who hang around in the plaza every day. You just have to ignore them and avoid them where possible. If you get harassed constantly, use /report or get a GM\'s attention.
