Title: won't update

i just downloaded planeshift and the updater says it needs to update the updater and it does download and everything but it stays at version 1.0.2.3. instead of updating to 1.0.2.4 help would be very much appreciated as i am excited to start playing and its been 4 days since initial download

You should have a directory named \"updatertmp\" try to manually copy the
updater binary in there or try to run the updater with --auto command line
option. What OS is it?
