I\' don\'t know how the mechanic of this bug/exploit work, but someone can steal a mob that you are figthing, and of course get its drop.
The only thing that I know about is that the bug/exploit involve the use of the summon misile spell.
Sorry, for not be more clear but maybe someone with more tech skill and better english can explain better this thing.
Sadly this seem like a well know and used bug/exploit, at least by certain players.
Sorry mi english.
And sorry if this has been really discused, but my search for \"summon misile spell bug steal mob\" did not get any related results.

Whats a mob?
-
A \"mob\" is usually refered to a group of enemies that are either very similar or attacking in a group.
-
Oh, I thought it was a monster name, nvm i know what it means lol
-
A \'mob\' is any computer controlled enemy. Rats are mobs as well as the larger creatures. In this instance, it does not mean a group.
-
I see.. well thanks for the little correction.

This is a known issue and it\'s in the Bugtracker.
-
ANY spell can somehow intervene in somone\'s targeted monsters.
-
..but summon missile can do it from far away.
And, by the way, since the last version update, x.009, the missile seems to be going in the wrong direction. Maybe the animation for that one is bugged?
It reaches the target and has its desired effect, its just the animiation that seems off. I\'ve seen it go sideways, backwards,... lol
(edit: bad spelling)

I\'ve never seen the missile go in the correct direction. It\'s rather amusing.
