hi folks
I\'m almost new to this game. I would like to explore and check it out but the mouse sensitivity is so slow in mouselook. this is annoying. the setting has no effect an won\'t be saved...is there any solution besides \"don\'t use mouselook\"?
-
Well the mouse sensitivity works fine for me. I havnt seen too many options for handling the mouse. Maybe it should be requested? Anyway you can just make it so your mouse moves faster by doing it from the control panel on your computer.
-
hm. I think the problem appears only for a few people. my sensitivity in the control panel is quite high. I haven\'t had the problem in an earlier version of PS.
-
Your the first person iv heard that has this problem actually. If it persists, maybe you should ask a GM in game.

the problem is not new...

I, too, have the same problem and my mouse is a Logitech Cordless Express (Keyboard/Mouse duo). One of the other posters mentioned their mouse was a Logitech. Since some people seem to be having problems with mouse sensitivity while others are not, could it be the brand or type of mouse that is the source of the problem? The other poster was using a Logitech trackball, but mine\'s an optical mouse. What do you use?
An in-game slide-rule for selecting the desired mouse sensitivity would be a nice feature, but when holding down SHIFT+moving the mouse, the reaction time is just fine -- wouldn\'t want that to become disproportionately fast to the panning action, you know?
My mouse sensitivity is set at 50% and I\'m using Windows 2000 Pro.
And Gattacus....I love you! You used the \"Search\" feature! /me hugs

i use a logitech, too. I deinstalled it and tried a microsoft mouse...without success

Well... I have had this little \"bug\" for two monthy now... I guess it has a low priority on the devs \"To do\"-list...
-
I realized the problem only occurs if you use the camera mode in which you rotate the character with the mouse. does the same happen to you? any workaround?
-
I am experiencing this \"low sensitivity\" problem in first person mode only, and then only in horizontal direction. It\'s not really a sensitivity problem but it porabably has something to do with the way the mouse is centered again, after movement. I used to have this sort of problem in my own programs. If I move the mouse slow, there is no detectable movement. If I move the mouse very rapidly, the screen does rotate left or right.

Hmm, I didnt know this was such a big issue. Ill post it on my \"Bug List\" thread in the bugs section.
