Title: a bug who shows something interessant
Post by: fken on April 03, 2005, 01:17:52 am
the program doesnt repeat the music in the background but in fact its better like that. Really its quiet and really good like that: the sound of the wind in the background, the sound of the torchs burning near the temple...

What do you think about that?

I want the background music.  :)

If I go from fullscreen to windows-mode and then back to fullscreen again the music returns and plays one time and then gets quiet.

If that day comes I\'ll just disable the background sounds. (http://upl.silentwhisper.net/uplfolders/upload1/smiley_w000t.gif)

so you wont feel the atmosphere!

Yiliakum by night with wind kissing your neck whistling to your ears... the atmosphere is too good when its quiet!

I too agree that the music in town is annoying after the 50,000th time.

Perhaps its just that the music is a bit dramatic...

Anyway... I had a thought... What if we were to have an option in the sound options that allowed us to choose from either *music off, music on, or music play once*?

customization is the key ;)

Methos.

music on off doesnt exist ? ... strange but in fact what could be annoying is that there is not only one music. If the wind sound is shut off because of the music off option... really it\'s sad... It could be interesting to choose the music we want to listen to. Im just thinking about a list of sound/music level we could choose. What do you think about that ?

Personal message addressed to Moogie or any other moderator : please transfer the thread to the wish list :-D ...

fken the devs would obviously provide sections of music- the bg song doesnt include the wind- its all layered.. well i think it is

EDIT: If they mak an on off button

The ambient sound and music volume can already be seperately adjusted in the Config Sounds window.

I admit I never look for it... I just remember MB and the sound management...    mea culpa

So I think the subject can be closed.

Just an add : please create another music for the game espacially Yliakum. If there are more than one music per ground it could be nice  :)

Yes well, thats a very good suggestion. \"Making it so you can choose different backround musics to your liking for the certain area.\" That would actually make it so you can have variety and not get bored of the music you were currently listening to.

I have noticed that the music doesn\'t play all the time, it seems to me more of an intuitive situational music. Which I personally like over the other games nightmarish overly loud \"Nintendo\" (the original in the 80\'s) style arcade music. Once through the average games music and I am reaching for the mute.

I also feel that the music score seems a tad longer than the \"other guys\" music, which means it has more variety before it repeats.

I might just have lucked out with the perfect sound card for this game, sure is nice if this is what happened.
