I\'ve seen arianne (http://www.arianne.cx), worldorge and some other open-source projects....BUT

I must say....Planeshift is the best  :D


But my question is:

Will you release the server too ?

or only client ?

(i really...really...really....hope server will be released too, to create my \"own\" world, for me and my friends  :]

I do not know if we have any plans to release a prebuilt version of the server.  You can build your own and run it if you want since all the code is available.  We want to try and make a big community first so releasing a server at this point may cause too much fragmentation.

okay - thats a good argument

but I think when you suddenly decide to stop the project (i know i\'m very pessimistic  :D)  every experience will be lost for the community.
