WinXP : client crashes when the focus is on another application

I just started ps and remind me my mp3 player was still connected : I push the Win button and I disconnect the mp3 player : ps crash and then the client crashed 2 another times (before nothing crashes like that since the first releases of cb...)

I dunno if it\'s important but I report this bug.

it crashes on me when I try to control+escape and put it to taskbar..


might be of some use to devs when looking into this

3.009 generally crashes badly on Windows it occurs in various situations,
for example my friend\'s client not crashes since he switched from fullscreen
to windowed mode. The best what you can do here is removing your
psclient.txt file, open the client, and after it will crash take the new
psclient.txt file, put it on some site and give us link on forum.

Well, there has been various \"little\" issues you can do to get rid of these errors, as stated before. Taking the music out, going to windowed mode, etc. (Posted by Platyna as well). They are minor issues that you can play with but should be fixed in the future.

i get this to happen... it seems to be a full screen only bug... btw... because when i went windowed on it, it allows me to switch apps w/o crashing or locking up planeshift. ( windows xp sp2)

Well, these bugs are for some individual computers because my computer works fine with full screen and music on. It works fine in windowed mode and no music on it either..

Well it happen for me too.

The first time it happen i was exploring with a friend and someone on my messenger contact list send me a wizz (messenger 7).  That blank out the screen and it was difficult to return in Windows.

Since then, the game crash every time i go in windows for too long.

But thanks for the pointers. I\'ll try windowed mode.
