The Pure guild is a guild formed by Tomie Goldenfurr.
In order to join you musst be of Pure Enkidukai blood or get special permission from the leader.
The Pure honours the ways of war and the ability to craft armors and weapons.
To be truly Pure you should be able to use atleast 1 weapon and wear any kind of armor.
You are also expected to know or to learn how to craft weapons and armors for yourself and to the guilds need.
Magicans and Healers are free from this rule.
A Pure shall live for the war and win honour by duels.
A Pure can challenge a other Pure in duel in order to win honour or sett a despite without loss of honour or respect if the fight is fair.
A Pure shall show chivalry towards the guild members and female enkidukais from any guild.
A Pure shall allways be polite to females regarding their race and guild and protect female Enkidukais at all costs.
A Pure shall allways guard about their Enkidukai pride.
The Enkidukai is the superior to all other races and therefore a Pure shall put himself and other Enkidukais first.
A Pure is sworn to avange any disrespect or insults given towards him, the guild and the race.
If a Pure getts insulted by any Subrace or Guild he is having all his guilds support, if you mock 1 Pure you mock them all.
A Pure is never to start insults he shall never go down to their level. (exeptions may occour).

Enkidukai...always the best for a one race guild. They are just so popular. Well..depth here is right. too little info. and the name? I understand why you used it..but when i had only read the title it sounded kind of...ohh...*mummbles something under his breath*

ermm sounds \"fun\" but just remember to keep the raceisum in game, we dont want no \"M.A.P.S.\" (mothers aginst planeshift) to form up and call planeshift \"satan\'s racial hate spewing playground or any other degradeing title. ;) :D :P

i agree with depth, you need to write a some more history. telling us how the \"hate\" started would be a good idea.

I would be so utterly glad if people would stop dragging that stupid racism stuff everywhere. I don\'t want to see racism IRL nor ingame. Can\'t you think of something else to get conflict from? :rolleyes:

I agree with Seytra... What about half-breeds? Why are they descriminated? Got nothing agaist the \"pure breeds\" But you\'ll see that many people living in Yliakum tend to mix with other races, so almost no one is pure... I\'m sure one of your great great great great grandparents wasn\'t an Enkidukai. Everyrone tend to mix with other races, someone in your family may have not been an Enkidukai... anyway, good luck with it.

i personally think this is good RP, although a little to much like WhitWolf\'s Werewolf fantasy setting for my taste.

Hi! I see my thread got noticed, Well many people dont seem to like the vision I have for this guild.
I based the guild in my characters thinking, he got iltreated by humans and etc. sad story bla bla, So he is angered towards any unEnkidukai who does him or other Enkis bad.
If not angered he likes other races to and thats why I have this Special permission rule for joining if your not Enkidukai.

So basicly you say that he was discriminated for whatever reasons, and that solely by non-Enkis, of which he makes the assumption that Enkis all are fine, whereas others aren\'t (mostly), except they\'re not \"pure\", which makes them just the same as non-Enki?
What would happen when (not \"if\", since there will be lots of \"pure\" Enkis who couldn\'t care less about their kin) he\'d get betrayed by \"pure\" Enkis?
Anyway, I don\'t like this sort of reasoning to justify racism, since I don\'t think it is realistic in an environment where mostly mixed population exists.
Also, if he doesn\'t mind non-Enkis who don\'t harm him (and who\'d like others who do harm one?), why make the fuss about the pureness? Or, conversely, wouldn\'t he mind Enkis who harm him?
The special permission rule, though I haven\'t looked at it\'s wording, to me is mandatory.

I agree with Druke. This is actually good RP. It may not be logically reasoned out, but since when was racism ever logically reasoned out? If it was, it wouldn\'t exist. That\'s the whole point. Good RP. Bravo.

And, just for the records, I totally disagree with \"one race only\" guilds as well, and think they shouldn\'t be allowed, either.
I\'m also not sure about the quality of RP. Usually, racism is used to justify OOC things like griefing and PKing. Racism can be fun, but only if everyone is a good RPer, and also agrees with having racism, and that is by far not the case in any MMORPG.
Also, the setting IMO suggests that there isn\'t racism. At least there is no racial hostility, which is stated explicitely. Hence, ignoring the setting wouldn\'t be good RP.
Racism can effectively make races unplayable, which is very very bad.

Quality of RP? My guild is an one race guild and it is made solely of role-players. Also I don\'t think goal to recreate dermoria would be good rp-wise if I accepted different races.

Is there a statistic about it somewhere? Not to mention racism does not equal agression against different races... Get your facts straight. Also not all one race guilds are racist (Although this one is).

Solely In Your Opinion then. Because racism is pointed out in dwarves\' description as well as racial hostility in the history. There\'s a small detail saying that there is no racism because of races living together, but that\'s just generalising supposed to say that there are no \"Klans\" burning homes of speciffic races or making slaves out of them. Anyone who can make use of his common sense would figure that out.

Yes, the setting says there is racism, one-race only guilds should be encouraged and also every race should strive to separate itself from all the others, since that has been what they\'ve always done. They simply haven\'t been able to avoid mixing due to the lack of room! In fact, the sentence about most of te population being married to a member of another race is total BS, and Yliakum has been in a state of continously smoldering hate and hidden warfare between races since the fist settlers arrived!
Yes, let\'s all hate echother, it\'ll make RP so much more easy and worthwile, because racism is everywhere, so why should PS try to be different?
Seriously, I\'m so utterly sick of the constant \"I want racism!\" and \"racism is good\", \"there is benevolent racism!\" chants that I could puke for hours.
