How long did it take for your download of Crystal Blue verson to finish? How long is it supposed to take?

It took me about an hour...  i used mirror 3 i think.. I couldn\'t find the stupid bittorrent thing, so I gave up on that and just downloaded the client.

Bittorrent isn\'t stupid, and I\'m surprised you couldn\'t find a bittorrent client, considering bittorrent is all over the place. If I recall, World of Warcraft used bittorrent to distribute their client for open beta. As for the original question, download speeds vary depending on your computer and internet speeds. I\'m not sure how large planeshift is, but if you look at the file size and download rate it should give you an idea of how long it will take for download. I believe on my old connection it took around 3 or 4 hours because it was hideously slow.

Yep, took me about 1hr and 30 mins on my DSL connection.

just keep the installer on your computer like I did.  Because of that, I never have to worry about these irritating tasks

Yeah, its all about connection speed and bandwidth available to your computer. My bro did it in 42 mins and my other bro did the dl in 23 minutes.. go figure.
