Title: Problems :( plz help.

OKay, so i dled the 3.06 exe, and installed.. tried running the updater but it froze at 76% :(....

also, i only see 1 server on the list when i start the game at the main screen... Fragnetix or something like that, and my ping is uber high like 400-600 and when i ping the server i hardly get a response.  Are there any other servers? or is that something i will see when i finally get the updater to work. :(

THat ping isn\'t bad- when you go ingame you\'ll see that everyhitn works normally. Everyone get s about that. Can you run the updater again? It might be a problem with the updater, in which case there are a few ways to work around it, but the first hing to try would be just running the updater again.

give it some time. sometimes the updater will appear to stall out. i\'ve always found that the best to to update is last thing at night. that way when i wake up in the morning i\'ve got a nice fresh version of ps. kind of like waking up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee by your s.o.

but to answer your question. there is only the one server, fragnetics. i have run the updater many times, sometimes it works faster then others. i recall only see fragnetics. but that is because i ignore localhost when i see it.

i used to get a ping in the mid 400\'s. i haven\'t checked recently. i rebuilt my router and have only done the pair of tests that are of import. that i can surf, and e-mail. so i may have dropped a bit.
