No bism, just a public service.
I\'ll keep it short and to the point, people are going unacounted for. Planeshift has a very rich history of flamboiyant, odd and sometimes mentally insane characters, that grace the 3d online roleplaying game. However, due to transfers, character reincarnations and inactivity many go unacounted for. Some simply just dissapear. So I make this thread, and I ask a simple but daring (well not so much actually) question:
Did you have an account in MB? If so, what name(s) did you go by?
I\'m of course Kixie, and will always be Kixie. Forever. Bah.

Not to me...
Being oldbie is more like having a thing for peanuts or bragging about how old you are.

I was scythe back then, but went crazy on how everytime I spawned I had floor textures on me. Result: I quit MB in a week.

Do I count as an olbee? I don\'t really consider myself one..Hasn\'t been a year yet. I\'m over the way too active line though :P
Anyways, I think the REAL olbees where around since AB since it has only been like 6 months since mb left us.
My MB account name was Killerv, It\'s still my name in cb until lemurs are out though. My old forum name was..err...fesfes :rolleyes:

There are only 2 here so far, not including myself, who have posted here and are oldbies.

I dont really think being here during MB would constitute someone as being an olbie (\'specially as that would make me an olbie 8o ). Being an olbie is an attitude, an aura of respect by fellow members, it can not be applied generally (unless you were here since SB then you are automatically an olbie).

Atticus thats not a very nice thing to say and secondly the definition of being a \"real\" olbee isnt being older here than you.

Learn how to count. Being around here a while doesn\'t give you the right to have a big mouth or to be mean. Being around here a long time doesn\'t mean much. It\'s being a good person, being helpful, and a good RPer that does.

Err, who cares if you\'re an olbee or not? Declaring yourslef an olbee wont help you eighther. Just keep playing ps the way we always have and screw this \"im an olbee\" crap. Who really cares how long you have been here here or how much you know as long as you are a good person.

im an oldie from, ive been playing for about...mmmm more than 2 years ?
well my account name was davoid and i have gone innactive, not from the forums, but i havent actually really played cb. i used to play mb for hours on end.
i dont think anyone would remeber the davoid charecter (hopefully some of youse may remember me :P)
this post has probably fed more stupid posters, i wonder who will reply to me

Heh heh. Powerlevelling is now an oldbie thing? I think not.
I don\'t consider myself an oldbie, but then, I\'m not a newbie either. Really, who cares? It\'s nice to be known and respected, but that really doesn\'t have anything to do with being an oldbie.

hmm I had an MB account, but I would say that approximately 10 folks know my name also I spent quite a few hours ingame and on the forums, in the beginning everything was fine, so I wanted to get to know as many ppl as possible, but lately it became less fun to go online or even read the forums, and now I realise that there is too much inactivity or private jokes or 1337ness among the \'oldbies\' for them to \'accept\' me and too much hack&slashing and powerleveling among \'newbies\' for me to \'accept\' them , so I decided to quit. I\'ll check from time to time to see if things changed, but as I guess they wont, this is surely a goodbye-forever.
(yeah I know this post is quite out of topic but I didnt feel like making a thread just to say that, so I had to say it somewhere and I\'m sure it\'s not as hard as Moogie tries to make us believe to delete a post :) ... or well I could have said nothing but it helps me a bit to consider this as my last post)
