Title: Review of Planeshift

I recently started a web site that lists and rates only free MMORPGs. What I need though is for someone to go to the site ( http://free.hostdepartment.com//f/freemmorpg/help.htm ) and write a review for Planeshift. The point is that all the games should be reviewed by someone that spent quite a bit of time playing them and can give an honest review. The review would need both positive and negative sides of the game, and then given a score (out of 10.)

There is the overwhelming fact that PlaneShift is currently at version 0.3. That\'s roughly 30% of a \'final\' game. It has taken 5 years up to this point. The negatives of this include a lack of content and features, areas, not all races are ready and playable, there is no character customisation implemented yet, many skills are not yet coded, there is a lack of spells and effects, etc.

This is to be expected of a version 0.3. But they are still negatives, regardless of the reason. There\'s nothing sillier than saying \"this is the most awesome game I have ever played!!\" unless you\'ve never played another game in your life. :)

As such, I am in agreement with Kaseijin on the point that you couldn\'t possibly \"review\" 30% of a game. A preview would be more appropriate, outlining the promised features, our open-sourceness, voluntary developers and contributors, a world-wide team effort where players are able to add their own thoughts and opinions. Not to mention that it will be completely free to play forever. ;)

Post by: nat2020 on April 30, 2005, 10:42:00 pm: Ragnar ty for the site, but a lot of those rpgs in the free section are dead links... Or rpgs that are trial based. Dont need any of those, heh. I did find a few that we didnt have yet though, so thanks!
Rem, I want someone else to do it because I want someone with experiance to write the review. I have not played the game, so I cant write one up. I wanted someone with a LOT of time in the game to write something up.

Well, ok, if not a review then a preview. Anyone up to the task?

BTW the site isnt even submitted to search engines yet, so theres plenty of time to write one up if someone is interested. Check the forum on the site for examples.
