Title: Mining Question

Is the mining down or something?  Someone showed me how to mine and it keeps saying I don\'t have the skills.  The person who showed me has mined before and it is telling her she doesn\'t have the skills either.  What is up?

Alright, I just checked in game, it took a bit of work but I was able to mine gold. :) So there isn\'t any bugs.

I went straight for the platinum.  It\'s a complete an utter waste of time though.  Even at skill level 7, it still took me forever to get a decent amount.  Maybe if I had a better pick axe, but they don\'t sell them anymore apparently!  Hunting rats is much more lucrative.
