Title: Keybinding "Return" (i.e. "Enter") on Mac OS X
Post by: Cha0s on May 09, 2005, 12:20:13 am
When I attempt to bind the \"Return\" key (in my case, to the chat function), the key binds successfully and works fine until I log out. When I log back in, the key is no longer bound and I have to rebind it. There are no issues with any of my other key-binds. As mentioned in the title, I\'m running Mac OS X (10.3.9).

I had this one as well.  So this is what I did and it may work for you.

I changed \"toggle chat\" to the number 1 and set the lose focus option.  Thus I have to hit 1 before I talk, but the focus goes right back to moving or whatever.

Hm, all I can say is.. \"weird\".  I\'ve never taken the opportunity to play with key bindings myself, so maybe it bears some investigation, although other problems (crashing etc.) certainly take priority.

Thanks!
