Post by: yx123 on May 20, 2005, 01:23:01 am
My old guild became inactive and i am looking for an new guild. is there anyone who would recommend a guild for me. I am new but knows how to play. I am looking for a medium sized guild that is not too big

i am not sure this is the right place to put this. isn\'t the guild furom just for guild advertising.

The guild leaders on the forums act a bit different han the ones in game. They roleplay, It\'s tough getting into the guilds that hang around on the forum.

I reccomend going to the guild list at thebbb.tk and finding a guild right for you and contacting them.

I would ask you to join mine, but then, you need to find a guild that works for your character. Mine is a quasi-evil cult guild that does massive roleplaying. It\'s alos very small at the moment (plans to get bigger). But that may not fit for you. Go to some of the guild websites. Ask members in game.

That\'s my advice,

Nearly all matters relating to guilds are for the guild forum.  This includes guild advertising, player advertising, discussion of guilds, other organizations, etc.  Posting a player advertisement in the Hydlaa Plaza forum is considered a bit rude, but I can see that you are slightly confused on the matter.  I hope this helps.

No, this can\'t be posted in the guilds forum.  In fact, it should not be on these boards.

If you want a guild, look it up yourself.  There are way too many individual players for all of them to be posting that they are looking for a guild.  That is why guilds have websites and/or forums.

Almost everyone is having trouble recruiting, yet we are telling someone not to advertise his presence?

Hey!  Come join the Beggars!  We rock!

AND... we roll.  We rock and we roll.  And we\'re cool.  And, (some) people like us.  And, we have nice T-Shirts.  Well, no, we don\'t.  But, as I\'ve said: we are the only guild with an actual plan.  No ideals, just a plan.

We\'re not telling them anything.  The rules that prevent redundant/useless posts from being made does.

If he wants a guild, he can look for one himself.  It is not a complicated procedure as there is a whole big list of them along with descriptions of each, including how to contact them.

I understand some of you may be willing to take whatever lazy members you can get...but it is stupid to make everyone else skip around to avoid these useless posts since the information is already provided so that anyone can access it very easily.

Looking for a guild is useless?  It ISN\'T necessary looking for a guild via the forums?

And about being lazy, he\'s doing all he can so he can find the best guild for himself.  Heck, he\'s NEW to the forums.  Please, give him a flippin\' break for posting in the wrong forum.

No.  This has nothing to do with him posting in the wrong forum.

Looking for a guild is not useless, apparently you did not actually read what I wrote.

Posting that you are looking for a guild when, as I said above, there is a big list of them for you to look through with information and everything including ways for you to contact them, is pointless.  All that is going to happen is people will post the same, or more likely less, information then you would find looking through what is already posted.

What\'s the point in a guild posting in the guild forum if people are just going to make you repost everything anyways because they can\'t go there themselves?

Seriously, you are all acting like I called him an idiot.  I just explained the damn rules...if you don\'t like it, that\'s not my problem.
