Title: Check out my sig
Post by: Keldorn on September 02, 2002, 03:14:11 pm: Just wanted to ask what ya\'ll think of my sig. I think it\'s pretty good, but if someone hates it, well then just say so. Maybe i should add a sword or somethin on the right?

Yup, I drew it all by myself. I\'m a regular van Gogh I am (You wish! :] )

No, it\'s actually Lancelot (you know, from King Arthur). I found it when I was looking for some fantasy art on internet. The original picture was actually quite larger, so I had to scale it down. Worked out quite nicely i guess! :)

BTW: GREAT sig, Yann! I\'m actually reading that book right now! Well, not NOW of course, \'cause NOW i\'m staring at this screen, end trieing too geth mi zenttenzes wright (which i am failing at horribly at the moment :D ) *sigh* I\'ll just shut up now...

I understand that it may be dificult to find a cool sig but i am not sure that simply taking some one elses art could be considered a \'great\' job. i am no trying to bash your sig cuz i think that it is pretty cool. i could be wrong though... you may have done more than you are letting on. just wondering how people feel about that.

It\'s somehow a patchwork. There is some work there, good one because the result looks pretty, but \'great\' is a big word...
For example, I think ParaSite\'s sig IS a great job, when Keldorn\'s is just a good job.

But the point is all the two sigs are nice. No matter the work behind.

Keep in mind though, that I just as easily could have said that I had drawn that picture. And none would be the wiser. Now THAT would have been really low. (but mommy didn\'t raise me like that :] )

The edit you see at my post above are simply two words i added. I added the words all and by between the words it and myself.

Post by: Vengeance on September 06, 2002, 03:48:25 am: At this point I would like to point out that in your PROFILE (see button at top of page), you can set it up so that no sigs are shown at all.

This results in pages which load at least 2x faster, with 1/10th as much annoying crap. ;-)

Needless to say, this thread loaded very quickly for me, and was not annoying at all. :-)
