Yay, my favorite writer dissing the most fluky writer in the world. How lucky was GL that his StarWars idea would reach such levels that his obvious flaws would be ignored, (et always noticed). Go for the kill Orson...

No, without dialog, a movie is just eye candy. A bowl of lifeless wax fruit. Background noise. Come on...this is StarWars, not Blade.
I am just glad that I will outlive him. Then, perhaps someone can buy the rights to his movies and \'remake\' the originals back to original, and remake 1, 2, &3 so as they are memorable and watchable. Unless the man clones himself. Then we would have to put up with his carpfish forever.

This is a stupid thread, you know why? Your dissing a guy who is succesful in life...more then you will ever imagine to be. Meanwhile you sit here praising someone who disses the guy, wow you look like a real jackass don\'t ya?

I thought it was rather entertaining, actually. But then again, I\'m not one of those guys who turn to Yoda for spiritual guidance, and I don\'t wear a Jedi robe out of the shower.
Here\'s the deal: The previews for ROTS never said \"Come see the greatest film ...of all time.\" It\'s not like he pulled and Independence Day and advertised the complete destruction of the U.S. then gave you twenty seconds of explosion. the trailers basically said: \"Lots of CGI, Anniken freaks out, and hardly any Jar-Jar\". That\'s what you got.
See, when I went and saw \"Van Helsing\", I was satisfied. Their trailers went: \"Buddha, come see this movie and we will show you some fun monsters, neat settings, and an incredibly hot red-headed vampire doing soft-core porn poses\". That\'s what I got, I was happy. Especially about the vampire. The rest of the movie sucked, but that\'s not why I was there.
If you went to see ROTS for the dialogue, you got ripped off. But Lucas didn\'t promise you any dialogue. We all know Joseph Campbell was the real genius behind the first three anyway. And he\'s dead now, so S H U T U P.

i have been waiting for a post like that for a long time.
personally i dont really like star wars, but i would watch it.
star wars is so big because its drawn its fans over a period of ..er well a long time.

You guys are stupid. Especially the guy who posted first about GL being successful.
Firstly, I believe that I can be 5x more successful than that untalented sonuvabee. Don\'t even try to argue that, you don\'t even know me.
Secondly, it doesn\'t matter how much money he made from the movie, OSC was dissing his self. Saying that he\'s stupid and doesn\'t deserve what he has. OSC is much more \"successful\" a human being than GL. For he has improved himself into a great writer. What has GL done but abused every invention in Filming History. As OSC said, I\'m going to watch StarWars, for I too like the idea of StarWars, but I have absolutely no respect for GL. He has not even tried to prevcent all the crappy videogames released with the name of StarWars. Which only proves to me that he doesn\'t recognise crap when he sees it. Which also goes on to prove that his whole StarWars idea was complete chance. And don\'t say anything about Kotor, I\'m pretty sure OSC wrote the dialoge to that one anyway.
GL sucks for life.

I was praising OSC for voicing my opinion. He is my favorite writer and his views match mine. So in my hapiness I decided to post the link to that review in the Hydlaa Plaza. Now, am I worshiping him, yes, but only because I worshiped him even before he wrote that review. How am I being a Jackass? Don\'t call me that, call me something that doesn\'t relate me to your way of life. For I have never used the word and calling me such will only relate me to you. That is much more of an insult than the word itself defines.
PS: YOU suck.
