Title: Hello. new guy here.
Post by: FyreBlade on September 03, 2002, 05:55:47 am: hi. i\'m new here (well, i tried planeshift\'s first tech demo, but stopped after i found out i couldn\'t DO anything). i might try planeshift when it becomes beta. planeshift has apparently improved since i last played it, but it looks like u can still only walk around and talk. so y do u ppl play the game if that\'s all u can do? just wondering.

Well, all of us are here, just patiently waiting for the game. The basic pass time around here is talk on the PS boards, visits Kada\'s taver, maybe a bit or IRC to mix it all in. Some, like myself, start guilds, to gather our forces, but we basicly wait for the next releace.

I haven\'t actually \'played\' PS for a while now. I\'ll get back to it when there is a significant update and it agrees with my PC a bit better.

For now, as Alucard said, I just hang around here, drink in the tavern and give input where I think it may be useful ;)

The tavern link is below my sig, drop in for a beer in the forums if you\'re passing (beer on the house for newcomers ;)).

People are just grouping together into guilds at the moment to form the foundations of what will form the game guilds. I suppose they stand more of a chance of being an established guild if they have started at this early stage, so will already have an organised framework when the game begins and will have a head start.

yes same here. my guild id also lawful evil.

well fyre. i know many people in the PS community that play BG2. i happen to be one of them. i got the Throne of Bhaal expansion recently. definately worth the money :)

if ur looking for a neutral guild we are it. we are the only true neutral ones, not neutral/evil or neutral/good :))

we dont allow joining 2 guilds, the only exception is hte BISM, which isnt really a guild. havent talked this ove with golbez yet but i doubt he will mind

And Kiern... i hope you fix those PHP/MYSQL glitches on the bism....its annoying to see a ton of errors when im trying to read a site. :P

I think that is more a precision than a correction...Los Otros is chaotic neutral/good, but so it remains neutral/good.

(In fact that was just an excuse to post something about my guild... ahem... :-> )

Post by: Shanky on September 04, 2002, 03:33:29 am: I acctually haven\'t heard, im not even sure if there will be a Mac version...PS\'s main gimmick is that it is the only MMORPG that runs on linux, and its free....i think its geared more towards the standard PC market, and of course the commy linux geeks :P (just kidding)
