Title: could version 2.010 be updated to 3.010?

i got this client 2.010 from a friend of mine because i cant download it, but after i run the updater it still says that it\'s version 2.010. so now i wonder: do i have to download version 3.010 or can my 2.010 client be updated?

You have to download it. There\'s no way to update from the last release to the current version.
