Is it just me or will the fight between good and evil be a bit unbalanced? It seems everyone is choosing the evil path. Well just trying to start conversation...

Yes, I know what you mean. I\'m almost beginning to feel lonely here. More and more people are falling to the darkness. ;(
But so be it then! I will fight even harder! The Good must prevail! And as a knight I see it as my duty to protect the lands from the evilness of their hearts! ?( err ... am i making any sense at all?

As i have stated before, The Azure Order is so Good, that it equals 10 Evil guilds.
so thanks to us, it is balanced

Well I follow the path of good, I may be considered neutral, but that is how I\'ll play. Haha, Keldorn, I follow you, it makes plenty of sense.

hehe well...there is a reason for this. mainly because the evil guilds are more appealing and interesting than the good guilds. :] another reason is most mmorpg\'s assume that all the players are \"good\". and i think many people in planeshift are evil because they are sick of being a typical goody-two-shoes who wants to be good and holy and help all the NPC\'s with their problems. it makes me sick...ick! i for one am grateful for the freedom of alignment that will be in planeshift.

i\'ve only heard that one 15 millions times. but everyone allllways decides to use the excuse \"I was bored\" and then they end up doing them
BTW, and once again, The Azure Order is the funkiest guild out there, so shove that down your pipe and smoke it

I never fall to the dark side! And besides, i hate the idea od Aelya liking me, so thats one good reason to stay good! Plus that evil people dont get discount at Al\'s Potions And Armors Shop. Who would let a chance like that get away!
Malkai, there are more then enough good-aligned people. But the evil ones are always the braggers, so you notice them sooner :)

there should be evil quests for us baddies i think. But I heard theres no PvP... so what is really the point of evil and good???

i think its hard to give a definition to good/neutral/evil because an evil person can do some good and still be evil cant they? but then wouldnt they be neutral? or agood person wold eventually do something evil, so actually some people would call me evil i guess since im more inclined to steal that persons money than to give it to them, but would rather not do either
i think i just confused myself ?(

As a paladin I have sworn to never leave the side of good, so there!
Evil will always hide in it\'s shadows, threatening light, but the thing is, light will always win! (atleast from my p.o.v you bad guys can say something else if you want :D)

oh malkai i doubt they are that foolish. thats like stepping into a dark ally with an infamous rogue.of course if they insist on \"stepping into the darkness\" well then id rather enjoy slicing their heads off and looting them of anything valuable :D

I think more ppl aim towars the dark, since two of the most active evil guild, are by far the most organized, and well looking. Plus since there will be no PKing, and you won\'t be starting in a diff town if you chose either side(good vz. evil), so it really does not matter what character you play, unless maybe the idea of quests, and diff items comes into play.

Zig is not sure what alignment he is. I enjoy such qualities as honor and the pleasure of helping those in need but i do like the whole hidden in the darkness theme too. Anyone play Crono Trigger? my favorite characters on that game are Glenn and Magus. Glenn is honerable but magus is just gets really cool lines like

and Glenn gets the old english accent and type of speach thats embodies the whole midevial sort of enviornment. I dont really know what side im on, Im not evil but i appear to be that way at first, lol kind of like batman cept with out the utility belt and spandex :D

i am wioth u guys for GOOD, but since i often play rogue i will be flicking stuff on the side, but other than my thieving tendencies :) I\'ll fight for GOOD :D

Malkai: There\'s no PVP, but there is PVNPC :P That\'s a good enough point for good vs evil, is it not? Things like assassinating an enlightened ruler or destroying a church would surely be evil, even if there are no players there. Killing innocents in general is considered evil, right? :P
Anyway, I\'ll probably be playing a good character, ultimately, just so people know. :P Oh, and does anyone else find it humorous that someone calling themself \"Mephisto\" is going to be a paladin? :P

Damn, no pking. Anyone ever play meridian59? That was a good game... Where it was a constant battle. Where people could play out their roles of good or evil. I myself play a chaotic neutral rogue with a tendency towards evil. As long as i can pickpocket npc\'s thats good enough, but it would be better to pickpocket pc\'s, and assassinate them... PvP all the way!!!:evil:

didn\'t bother reading this since it looked too long and dragged out but here are my comments.
EVIL is all a perspective. what u consider to be evil to some may be good.
EG... u are walking down the street with ur best friend and some guy pops up outa no-where attacks and kills ur friend. u automatically ASUME ur friend did nothing to deserve it and the OTHER guy is evil. MAYBE ur friend had killed his best friend and he was only seeking rengence.
now for PS. if this game EVER starts up I WILL BE GOOD, but i beleive 90% of u will think im evil. i have a very BIG list of people i wish to kill for comments made on this forum. simple as that. but most who did not know my reasons or do not agree with them would veiw them as EVIL or whatever.
most games start out with everyone getting semi along and going DOWNHILL... this is because its FAR easier to make an enemy then to make a friend. Simple as that.

it actually depends on what kind of person you are, in all the games i have played ive not made one enemy (except for maybe this one) and have had plenty of friends

WOW someones grouchy! and a jackass i might add
they are very good reasons. mostly comments made about a developer of of a certain game.
now. i dunno how many games uve played but most games out right now u will get insulted just for minding ur own business like walking around or training. it all depends on the kinda perosn u are...
cause i do not forgive so i make many enemies. + it depends how non-partison u are. lotsa people just watch bad things happen and do nothing.

haha, no i was just bored..... :D i really was curious though, i remmeber this one person in my school who made a list of peopel they were gona get bak at and they lost it (found by me) i was nubmer 1, not that i didnt desreve it or anyhting, it just creeped me out
im actually in a good mood today, but that usualy is when im accused of being a jackass, hmmm.....
and as for when bad thing shappen i usually try to stop them in my own way, not becoming too apparent but still as effective as you can get

Well, I don\'t know about the rest of you, but I\'m going to be good (simply because I can\'t pull off actually being evil:evil: ) but I will of course go about it in a way that people seem to think is evil.......... Just because I\'m a necromancer/fire warlok/Channeler/street fighter (lol) it doesn\'t make me evil :P
If I see somebody doing something I don\'t like (which must be evil ;) ) I kill them and take all their gold and shiny things :] Does that make me good? ?(

a flaw in your plan, there is no free range PKing ;) , the most you can do is yell at a person or challenge them to a duel

Yeah, and there is always the good old arena. But brings me to a good point, will you be able to loot during the \"Guild Wars\"? or will the corpses just dissapear? ?(

As i see it right now, in guild war situations it will be normal corpse rules, i.e. only the player can loot his corpse, otherwise in a guildwar you could keep gang attacking some well equipped character and steal all the stuff he worked to get. Then again there are no rules for this yet, this is just my \"Grand Vision\"(tm)

Maybe that should be up to the guilds involved. As long as they agree ahead of time on the rules of the war, I don\'t care what they choose.

I love it when people get into fights on these boards, it makes it SO much more entertaining for the rest of us
people visit the forums more often to check up and see the next insult, making them more active (like stickman and deadlypencil, they dont show up for a long time, now their on replying to everything! :D ) too bad some times people take it the wrong way and leave the forums, that always sucks...ohwell 8o

Ok... I am going to be a good aligned... uh... Necromancer type... :rolleyes:
But being a Necromancer doesnt REALLY make me evil...
Just say that I am walking in a city, then a thief MAYBE
took my little bag of gold, so i just cast a Meteor Strike spell on the city to take him out, and then i see that He didn\'t take it, but I had it in my other pocket!
So i did kill the whole city to take him out, but that doesnt *really* make me evil, I just thougth he took it...
There\'s one city less (and a couple of hundred citizens less), but hey, there\'s plenty more of them cities in the world, so I shouldnt really bother... You know they COULD build it up again... and move some people there... And then it would be like nothing happened!
So I am not evil... not at all... :rolleyes:
