Okay, i dowloaded the windows version from a mirror since the bittorrent site isnt working, and when i go to install, it gets to 99% and says

\"The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could be the result of a damaged dick, a failed dowload or a virus.
 
you may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.
 
it may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch(NOT RECOMMENDED)\"

any ideas on the solution?

well, to be honest, i didnt actually fidure it out, i just went to another download site, if i find it again, ill edit it in here

Nevermind, i got it working

I have the exact same error! How did you fix it?

i got the exact same problem! I tried 3 mirrors!

Solution: Download the Version with Bittorrent!! It worked then! Although I did not notice any change in Filesize or something with that. It was just the same. But it worked. I wonder...

Just either use the bittorrent program(i didn\'t the site for it was down when i tried) or go to that site in my last post, that fixed it for me.

I also have gotten that message and I tried all links. I am trying torrent now. Yall were right bittorrent works fine. Took me about 45 mins to dl from torrent.

IT TAKES ME HOURS to download off planty or w/e its called it says it takes 64 hours and 50 min. thats not cool but my BT doesnt work either this is kind of annoying. im not saying i could do better but isnt there a way for the people who made this game to fix the mirrors?? if not ill just google search for a download, because this is rediculous

Hey I had the same problem dowloading the game form the Planeshitft home site. It keep coming up with that error saying the file was corrupt of whatever. So i went to http://platyna.xpam.de/planeshift/  and clicked on MIRROR TWO and it downloaded in about eleven minutes. Hope it helps!

Receiving the same problem, here. I used the /NCRC cmdline switch and the installer ran, however hung with the error message:

\"PlaneShift Crystal Blue - Tech Demo Setup\"
\"Error decompressing data! Corrupted installer?\"
[ OK ]

At the time it was attempting to extract \"apps.zip\" in \"\\PlaneShift Crystal Blue\\art\" directory.

I\'m presently downloading via bittorrent.
