Hello @all !
I got following error while trying to install planeshift:
snoopy@ubuntu:~/Download$ sudo ./PlaneShift_CBV0.3.010.run
Creating directory ps.cb.03.010
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing Planeshift Crystal Blue Version 3.010..
./setup.sh: line 57: dialog: command not found
./setup.sh: line 59: dialog: command not found
./setup.sh: line 113: dialog: command not found
Removing tmp files...
I searched the forums but only could find errors that appear after installation.
The same error occures if I run the installer as \"real\" root (su) and also as user. Got the file via the torrent.
System is ubuntu linux 5.04.
Please let me know if further information is required.

You have to install dialog to use this installer...
WTH is going on with distributions these days? Dialog is a required tool for programs like netconfig, kudzu etc.
Regards.

Not every disto uses Slackwares(?) netconfig or Mandrakes kudzu.
Especially not those fancy \"lets copy Microsofts lousy point\'n\'drool interface\" distros.

but dialog is a very old and common tool that should be implemented in every distribution that will be used to compile something

Leeloo: All Red-Hat based distro uses Kudzu, and there is alot of them, and all
has netconfig, it is sometimes differently named, but that\'s the same program.
Also alot of scripts that can be helpful to rescue your system also are using dialog. :P
Regards.

I\'m running SuSE (well, it was a SuSE 7.0 long time ago, lots of things have been installed from source since), and the only time I\'ve seen Dialog after leaving Slackware is \"make menuconfig\", and it has it\'s own version of dialog.
