Title: Transparent Surrounding to trees?
Post by: Druean on June 06, 2005, 02:24:54 pm
why do some trees become surrounded in a sky like texture that is transparent instead of being able to see through them to the actual thing that may be behind them?

Is there any way of correcting this problem?

This is a graphics issue, not Mac-specific. As far as I know, there\'s no fix for this.

There is a fix for this problem, but it can\'t easily be applied by a normal user. The best bet is to wait for the next world file update, which should include the fix Jorrit gave to Talad. If it doesn\'t... well, there may be some Talad-pestering to be done ;)

I just fired up Planeshift on my PC and those trees did not have the transparent graphics problem. Maybe it is a Mac specific issue?

What\'s your video card on the PC? Mine is Radeon X800 Pro.

So are we all sure theres nothing we can do about this glitch if we have it?
We just have to wait until it is corrected in a later version of planeshift.
