You know, a lot of people wonder which weapon to chose. I know it\'s a matter of oppinion, but I ask for the general public\'s oppinion. From there, I can make a chart and post it.
Please list what you think of a good weapon and why. (be specific-don\'t say just sword. say what kind of sword.)

But really, if you havn\'t noticed PS is still a beta of the alpha. You can\'t expect much from it, like the difference of an axe and sword. :P

Really, I only wanted some oppinions and not exactly the \"it depends on what you want\" thing. Please, for future, just give your oppinion(s) and not leave it up to me.

Sabres and falchions are the most popular. (I use sabers myself) Claymores are good heavy hitters, but they\'re very slow. (and need 80 strength to lift...) Though, I know quite a few people that prefer broad swords. (slightly slower than the first 2 listed, but slightly higher damage) Honestly , the choice is yours. The differences are not drastic.

Silver Falchions, you cant buy these, so theyre very rare right now :) many people used to have them so i could auction the two i have for a lot :p

no, not even for myself, 1 because im not that kind of GM and 2. a GM doesnt need or want them
whereas my player character does have a bair she purchased a long time ago

I\'ve sold a lot of stuff to Arnquish that i just shoulnt.. My ring of the past :S and my falchions too..
I still remenber when i bought two Silver Falchions to a newb... Dumb times those :D

Silver Falchions are definitely the way forward... Steel ones aren\'t too bad as well.
But I might be in the market for longswords...how are they for fighting?

Ya know, I didn\'t want a silver falchion auction in my thread but thats ok. However, can we stick to the point? Remember, I\'m gonna post which weapon the public thinks is the best.

I use Silver Falchions, and I love them. Every now and again I\'ll try the longswords, to see if I\'m up to snuff. Over the last 40 levels of STR, AGI, and END, I have seen no increase in what longswords can do, and still don\'t like them. I\'ve seen people that hit hard and fast with them, so I know there\'s a point where they become useable. But with all my physical stats at 120, I can honestly say that I\'ve never seen them hit harder than my silver falchions, just slower. Claymors hit 2 times as hard as my swords, but I usualy get off 4 shots with a falchion in one hand compared to a claymor in the other.

How did I get one? i\'ve only been playing about 8 months, and I just noticed that one of my falciones is silver. The thing is, it always showed the two seperately, not as the same item with a number 2. So I guess I\'ve always had one, but that\'s really odd . . .

you may have bought one a long time ago, or picked it up in loot when they were given as loot.

hm, I guess I must have. That explains why one does slightly more damage than the other . . . I always figured my character was right-handed or something.

To be honest, I\'m aiming for claymore. They don\'t deal out as much dammage over time, but against players with under 120 HP, putting out so much dammage means I could kill them before they \"got off a shot\" as it were.

i still think that sabres are the best, they have good speed do good damage, look pretty cool too.

by the way why would anyone buy your silver flachions when they would just lose them in the wipe anyway. I guess you could call it a short term investment, and a dumb one at that. oh yeah...you\'ll lose the money you made from the sale in the wipe as well.

It is my personal opinion (just my opinion) that the wipe will not come very soon. There\'s still a lot of things to finish that will take a really long time like magic, crafting, smithin, and the hundred other skills they intend to put in.

to answer your question, yes, he is the dwarf you killed kiki. btw i prefer kiki\'s silver falchions, if not those, my sabres.

Oh...you guys have no concept of the best weapon. What about 2 missle lauchers at your side. A tank will do nicely also. (maybe one big enough to lauch a nuclear missile)

LOL this is awesome. I stopped playing for like a month or somehting (just before east hydlaa was introduced) and I bought 2 silver falcions. so yup, i have to that I bought from a really, really long time ago. SORRY, not for sale.
