This story takes place years ago in the once peacful streets of Akkaio. This was before the raid of the Rouges, before the evil that struck its wrath upon the city.
This is Taser\'s story.
---------PART ONE---------
15 years ago in the home of the Rander family, Taser, Mr. Jakela Rander and Ms. Rayle Rander, Jakela was preparing to go off for one of his merchant runs. He was a rich merchant, blessed with much charisma and intelligence. The Rander\'s resided in a beautiful home and were admired by their neighbors and all those who traveled here.
\"Daddy, can i come with you this time? Pleeeeaaase???\" Taser begged her father, who sometimes invited her to come on his shorter merchant runs that stayed within the top two levels.
\"You know what i told you, you have to stay here when I go on further trips. Stay here and take care of your mother\" Jakela winked at that last comment.
He walked outside and started fastening his load to the family Megara.
Taser looked on to her father as he prepared to leave. The chilling, damp air blew on her short fur as she looked out the window.
Taser walked away from the window and headed into her room to play with her dolls when she heard a piercing scream from outside. Rayle ran outside to see where the scream was coming from and stopped dead, with her fur standing up on her back, ears up, and tail stiff.
A band of rouges armed with various swords stood around the body of Jakela. They had killed him when he refused to give him his cargo. Rayle ran inside and grabbed a falchion to try and take on the band of rouges, but it was 6 to 1.
Taser ducked below the window of her room to not see what happened. while two rouges calmed the Megara, the other four ran into the house and rummaged it.
Taser ran to the back of her room and grabbed what little tria she had, and her short sword that she was given for protection, and jumped out the window on the side of the house. in the street below, she wandered the alleys of the city making her way to the entrance of the city.as she stared through the gate of the city, she noticed houses burning, people being killed in front of her eyes. The rouges had taken over the city.
