Title: Number of players

I\'m just curious about the amount of people that the Planeshift team is expecting to play this game.  

Is it a couple hundred, a couple thousand, etc.  

I always find that the more people playing a game, the more entertaining it is.

i dont think it is possible to tell how many people are gonig to be playing, but there seems to be plenty of people around atm from something thats not even a game yet, so i imagine once it is actually playable and people figure out that its free.....tons of people will start pouring it  :D

Of course the more people the servers can hold the better. That just makes more player interaction that makes everything all together funner :)

I am hoping we can have the game support 1000 concurrent players with one server installation.  That server installation may end up being a couple or three boxes though.

We\'ll have to see how it goes as we start adding in the tough features.
