Broadswords: 10% more dammage than sabre, but slower. Slow enough that they aren\'t worth using.
Short Sword and Falchion: About the same.
Sabre: As fast as Falchion, but deals more max dammage.
Are there any hidden benefits? For instance, some people say that longswords are better for defense. Some say that Falchions hit more often. Anyone know for sure?

Yes... but I\'m not telling :P

A weapon is just not about damage and speed but also image. Which weapon fits your character\'s look and attitude?

My attitude is to be the most efficient fighter as possible so that I can spend the least amount of time hunting and the most amount of time RPing.

I always thought it could be nice to have some sort of comparison skill...to compare two weapons and get out how they are different. I see a thread about that in wish list..

My silver Falchion does a bit more damage than the Steel one, might be more or less equivalent to the sabres. Not sure, though. Either way it was more expensive. Still, I wish I had another . . .

This sounds odd. It\'s not like RPing and hunting have to be two different things. If you RP a hunter, hunting is part of the RP. Aiming to be as efficient as possible is only normal for a hunter though. :)
