Welcome! It might help a bit more if you explain what kind of error message you got, and if you get this error without exception every time you try to load.

It would be nice if you told us what error message that is.  I may have practiced a bunch, but I\'m not a mind reader just yet. ^_^

Also please state your operating system, and hardware specs (i.e. \"Windows XP\" for the operating system and \"Pentium 4 2.3GHz, 512MB RAM, nVidia graphics\" for hardware).  Also, take a look at some of the stickies.  Check out this one (http://www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=1133&boardid=17&styleid=4) in particular.

Regardless of all that, did you at least update your client before running it for the first time?

I\'m encountering this problem as well.  I have a Dell Dimension 8250 running Windows XP Home Edition with an Intel Pentium 4, 2.4 gig processor, 256 MB of RAM, and an NVidia GeForce FX 5600 graphics card.  The initial error message I recieve is:

\" CB exception at: 7C00724A, exception code C0000005 \"

then, when the program has to close itself, it says:

\" instruction at \'0x087a7ae3\' referencing memory at \'0x15f43480.\' the memory could not be \'read\' \"

?????

Bloemi your problem is a sound related one, disable sound in pssetup.exe
If the pssetup.exe crashes edit pscongig and modify multiplex to multiplexer.

RobZombie when exactly do you get that message?

What OS do you have?
