well im new and i just installed it then when i tryed to setup the game well look at this http://img113.echo.cx/img113/9875/blackscreen4fw.jpg
then is the same when i try to log cuz i cant understand anything. i was looking arround and i found a guy that asked for the same problem but no1 answered him so i hope some1 will help me cuz i really wanna play it
oh btw i have an amd athlon 1.6, 512mb ram, S3 Prosavage 32mb but if the problem is my video card well i have a gforce fx 5200 128mb but i dun have it now -.-\"

edit2: well my s3 update didnt work too much cuz it fixed the words problem but not at all so i changed it to my gforce fx5200 and it work nice ok ill go play it. and sry again for this post

Hi and welcome to Planeshift,
Usually when you get troubles like that it is generically a problem of not update drivers in your graphic card.
Now, what happened after you updated your s3. It seems that it was working at least with the words in the screen. Partially, right?
Obviously, if you use a gforce with 128 mb instead of a s3 with just 32mb you will notice big differences, because - if you check the guide - 32mb are too little for a game like Planeshift!
