i have succsefully download Planeshift, bittorrent, and that crystal blue thing, i get to the log in page in the game and enter my ID (my e-mail right?) and my password, and click login. the server i am trying to log into is called \'fragnetics\', and it says i cannot log in.
can someone help me? i have a windows xp,
is the server down or something?
thanks

by the way, i have activated my account and everything, too.

I\'m 100% sure the message doesn\'t read \"you cannot login\" in those words.
Please be so exact as possible when giving text from an error message box
-
please dont double post, use the edit button, and no, the server doesnt seem to be down atm.
What\'s the exact error message you get ?
Edit: pokes Androgos for being faster

alright, it says \'cannot connect to server\', sorry.
when i go on, next to the Fragnetics server, it says \'Wai\' (which i think says \'Wait\' but the T was cut off or something), then it says \'Fail\' (or \'Failed\' - the rest was cut)
BTW, the game screen doesn\'t fit my computer screen, it goes in the upper-left corner and most of it is cut off, but i can still put in my login information.
your icon to run the game reads \"Planeshift - Tech Demo\" right?
-
i have no idea what you just said :(
-
please dont double post, use the edit button,
check if you have
in updaterconfig.xml and check your firewall
-
You forgot to tell him to Update after that, leji. ;)
So, after you ensure that you have that line, run the update app, updater(.exe). Then give it a try again. As for the screen size problem, you can modify this using pssetup(.exe).

i found the config.xml thing and i found the problem it reads :
mirror: 1 name: FRAGNETICS and a totally different Url and stuff like that, now how do i change it?
-
Copy the line above (click at the beginning \"<\", hold down the mouse and drag it to the end \">\" and then let go. Then push the \"Ctrl\" button, then \"C\" and then let both of them go).
Then, in the cfg file, select the faulty line, starting at the first \"<\" and ending at the last \">\" (same technique as above). Then push \"Ctrl\", then \"V\" and then let both of them go. The new line should replace the old.
Is that non-techy enough for you?

That\'s odd. The only server I see is laanx (i\'m not sure how to spell it.) And try updating. It has failed before but they always notified us. Hmm...
