I\'m a bit sad becaurse i\'m not able to progress in the game. ;(
Why? Well i wanna do something else and not only killing mob\'s.
I wanna mine. Sound\'s boring, i know.
Have mine skill lvl10, but it\'s no different from lvl1 when i mine for platinum.
Ok the gold is easyer, but 1 piece is 6kg and only 6tria.
And the progression point\'s dont rice to much either.
So for to be a better digger i have killed a lot of rat\'s.
I was hoping to be a good miner and when they inplant blacksmith i go for that to.
That way i can:
1# mine raw materil
2# refine
3# make vapon, armor and/or shield\'s.
4# sell them.
But for now. Why is it so hard to go around with mining?
Am i missing something?
Ps. I\'m bad att spelling, but i hope you understand anyway.

Right now mining is definitely the harder source of coin for players, as everything is rather unbalanced. I presume this will be taken care of in due time. I\'m rather surprised to hear that you have the same luck at higher levels of the skills than lower, however - but then again you\'re aiming for platinum, which is meant to be harder to get anyway. All in all, it\'s certainly tough for the time being, and no I don\'t think there is anything you\'re missing. If you still manage to get -some- platinum, then no bugs are involved as far as I know.

Thank you for the reply.
The gold is little easyer with higher lvl.
Well for now i guess i\'m stuck with mob-killing and mine for relaxing.
It\'s no big deal anyway becaurse my miner have 140STR so i can kill wild teffies with lvl16 swordskill. :D
I made a strong, stupid and slow char for mining and for carry a lot of ore.
I guess i have to wait for nxt patch.
I readed someware that it\'s almost ready, and they buggtesting it.
Untill then my gameplay gonna be: kill mob\'s, mine and a lot of exploring.
I belive there is a coal-mine someware, and i gonna find it. :D
EDIT* I gonna look for Iron too. And i have find me some clues where to look.

Good luck :) Though I don\'t think it\'s readily posted anywhere that the next big update is nearly ready and in bug-testing phase. Either way, remember to roleplay sometimes as well as kill and mine :P

Ohh sorry.
I must have readed a old post about update someware (cant find again).
And for the roleplay, i need to get better at it.
I\'m kind off new in mmorpg, and well the few i tryed before this was only about killing, lvling and pvp.
I was boored, and then i find this game. :]
I know it\'s far from ready, and so am i.
So give me some time to read, hear and see.
And as i learn from all in the forum and the game my roleplaying gonna grow.
It take time, but i\'m not in any hurry.

Definitely, and there are plenty of people willing to help you along :) I\'d suggest taking a look at this Roleplaying Guide (http://www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=10310&boardid=19&styleid=4) whenever you might have the time, for some useful tips and advice. Might help you find a direction for your character, and from there the gates are open for nearly anything.

Hey. I AM kind off roleplaying, just didn\'t know it. :P
And now i know why other new players in game asking me alot about.....mining.
My ingame char is a Kran (look\'s like a rock) and have a mining background (father was a famus miner).
Even his surename is easy to connect to mining.
That was interesting reading and i gonna train my roleplaying.
But first i gonna find the digging places and be a better miner, so i can live up to my char\'s name and background.

I kind of found out I was roleplaying mre than I thought also. I have an elven character that I am training to be a miner/fighter/blacksmith. For some reason I have always loved the idea of mining in a game. I understand about being bored in the other MMORPGs. I tried two at the first of this year just to have a new experience. I hated both of them. I did not feel welcome in the worlds they created. The first was Anarchy online. They had a free year of playing so I tried to play. All you could do was level. Everything there was was about leveling. They had subways where you would go and kill everything until killed yourself. Me, I like to do more than shoot the NPCs for loot. I tried to explore but unlike this game all the exploration is for is to find the next NPC to leave as a carcus. I tried exploration and died until level 25, then I was able to survive by running from things still bigger than me. It was easy to get stuck around enemies with higher levels. I gave it up after a week. Then found Runescape, everyone almost acted like jerks griping about noobs encroaching their territory. Here is different and you will notice automatically in the game. No one bites your head off for asking the same question from noobs millions of times.
