Cool! I like how the light really illuminates the dust in a realistic manner. :)

Doesn\'t \"no crits please\" basically mean.... \"don\'t reply to this post at all\"?

Sorry, couldn\'t resist.  Great work!!

No, absolutly not, it just means Like it or dislike it, if you dislike it do not post what is ghey about it since that serves me no purpose on a finished scene, but if you do like it, tell me about it ffs  :P

wormking: it COULD be used in-game, and it would hardly decrease FPS at all, but I\'m not a PS dev anymore so the purpose of the new lighting is just to show of in my upcoming portfolio.

to all: thankz0r

Wow, this could be done ingame?  That I\'d like to see.

Volumetiric light is always kind of difficult to render, how would it hardly decrease FPS?

Who said anything about volumetric light?
The light fog effect is made from a poly with an alpha smoke texture, which is not that hard to render (depending on video card, most games have options to disable these effects for very old cards) however there is also some of those around the floor but much more discreet, that I would probebly delete before export becouse they are too discreet to be worth the processing power.

/me wants... your graphic card !  :D

It\'s nice I like this kind of effects... but ( :P ) where are the sunlight from the second window ?
Will it be a place for the sunlight source ? because there could be a problem in game if this effect works with every windows of a room, dont you think ?

Whoah, I didn\'t even think about alphamapping that. Shows you how big of a n00b I am.

Anyway if the game looked like this, /me whistles
