Title: I fell through a "hole" in the sewers and died
Post by: istara on July 05, 2005, 05:45:05 pm
I was trying to find my way out of the sewers, and had managed to climb three levels (I wasn\'t so far down, probably no more than a couple more flight of stairs).

I was walking along, I had just passed two big ladders in the middle of the tunnel that don\'t appear to be climable, when whoosh!  Things went black and the arrow started leaving trails all over the screen.

I quit using the usual (X) button in the top left, and got an OSX message that the game had error-quit.

On reopening, I was dead.  Wtf?  Is this is a glitch, or are there actually hell-mouths all over the sewers?

I\'ve had this error as well.  I\'ve gotten around it in the past, on occasion, if I exit out the right side ( up the stairs ).  It wouldn\'t hurt too if you could jump to the right as well.

Look through the main section of the forum to see if other people have experienced it, because it is likely a problem with the map itself.

As dfryer alluded to, this is not a Mac OS X problem, but a general problem. The devs have heard about issues such as these and are working to fix them. Therefore, iLock.
