Title: Character Deletion

His name is Meard, the username is josephiner@earthlink.net

I need him deleted since I already have 4 characters in my account so I can make a new character, I can\'t switch my email adress and make a new one, and I can\'t wait for the wipe, so please can someone delete Meard for me?

The requesting character, and the character-to-be-deleted, must be on the same account for verification.

Kiva, leave GMing issues to the GMs. :)

In the next update you\'ll get a \"Delete Char\" button in the charpick screen. So wait till the next update and also submit a petetion and figure out yourself which method is fast. :P

that command will not work unless it has another character name from the same account, stops people deleting other peoples characters. so if they request a deletion of Fred on character bob

we go delete fred bob

server goes \'yup thats good, same person, gone\'

would you like me to use some crayons to explain too? :p

She can\'t, you guys are doing a lousy job. :D

(Sorry, I just had an urge to be calloused and insulting. This post does not stem from any substantiated fact that I have of GMs doing a poor job.)

nope, its easier if you were to login as a different character on the same account and request Meard to be deleted

Anyhow good to know GMs can delete them seeing before they said they couldn\'t and you just had to wait till the wipe ;)

Don\'t think I\'ll petition seeing I don\'t see a reason to make a new one but good to know if I ever do want one deleted :)

I can\'t find one who can delete Meard... :(

Back on topic; what I did way back is petitioning with the character I wanted to be deleted, then logged out and just waited for some time, ..., when I logged back in the character was deleted, so probably you just have to be patient

Actually, we can just let PS go the way it\'s going now, and eventually everyone will end up being GMs. Then they can just delete their own characters instead. :)

like ive said before a GM will do it when they log on, the ones you see online more often right now dont have the access to do it, bug them with other things ^^
