Title: something unexpected happened....

I already created an account, made my character, and then, when the game was about 85% load, it brought up a little box that said this:

Something unexpected happened in PlaneShift: Crystal Blue
Exception at address: 7C00724A, Exception code: C0000005
Would you like to save a diagnostic file?

The most common problem seems to be a sound-related one. Try disabling sound in PlaneShift\'s setup application, and make sure you\'ve updated the client.

(Using the forum\'s Search feature might help next time, too ;)

Both the setup and updater are included in the downloaded package. Use Start -> Programs - > PlaneShift Crystal Blue -> Planeshift Updater, then the setup application in the same directory. You\'ll see the options for sound :)
