Title: Server has dropped us for unknown reasons

what does this mean? i am trying to connect to ps.gamiix.com and it never works what am i doing wrong?

Are you behind a firewall?  I got this message for the longest time, and finally figured out it was the stupid firewall blocking it.  You can check your psclient.cfg file, but I think the default port is 13331.  Hope this helps!  :)

I have now firewalls on my computer and I still have this problem..

Meanwhile I would also try following Crow\'s advice.

Read the FAQ\'s (http://www.planeshift3d.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=1786&boardid=17&styleid=2)  in the newbie help and technical help forums. Also, before listing problems check here (http://www.planeshift3d.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=1133&boardid=17&styleid=2) to see what info we need from you.

Also there is an extensive FAQ (http://www.planeshift.it/community_faq.html) on the main Planeshift Website.

If none of this helps then post here and don\'t forget to give us as much info from your end as possible. This game is a work in progress run entirely by volunteers so have patience and be thankful they decided to embark on such a project for all of us! Keep checking news (http://www.planeshift.it/main_01.html) for updates and hang in there. ;)

Sometimes there server dies for some reason so you won\'t be able to connect.  At the moment the server is checked manually to see if it still running.  The next release of the server will output it\'s status to a web site so it will be much easier to see if the server is up/down
