Golmir is starting to really tick me off, he won\'t stop stalking me! He keeps following me saying \"Refuse challenges from Kenti\" I duel people so that I can get melee training and go back to percival and get another level up, but he is just getting annoying, I tried reporting him, and everything, but he won\'t go away...Can someone deal with him please!!!
(Kenti is the name of the character I used when he starting stalking me)

Complaining on the forums about another player is futile. Submit a petition in-game, since many more GMs check those than they check the forums.
-
This is really not the place for such a complaint. If you think you are being treated unfairly, speak to a GM. I, however, know the player in question, and I doubt if he would do something like this without some kind of reason, which leads me to believe that there may be something that you\'re not telling us.
EDIT: oops, Karyuu, you beat me to it.
-
Hahaha
Is it weird that this is like the 5th complaint about Golmir on the forums over an extended amount of time?
I\'ve never talked to the guy, but damn man.
-
All I\'m doing is challenging players to duels, they accept, we fight.
Thats all I\'m doing and he Pm\'s me, follows me, and he just won\'t leave me alone
Also he told me he replied on this post, one of you is him

None of us are, unless someone has an alt that I don\'t know about.
-
Hahah! Really, I\'m Golmir in disguise ;)
(That\'s a joke, Suno.)
We can\'t do anything, but the in-game GMs can. So please take it off the forums and to the petitions. Now and in the future.
And Kiern, indeed: Golmir has rather interesting ways to eh... \"promote\" roleplay.
-
If this is indeed true, then i owe you an apology, Suno. Perhaps you were mistreated. Still, take Karyuu\'s advice.
-
Well, IMO neither of you have a valid reason. Golmir should probably not stalk you, yes. It is the newbie\'s fault to be accepting duels. Still, it also is in no way proper attitude to train on other players. It most definitely doesn\'t represent RP, and IMO is even worse than conventional PLing, and probably is also abusing the fact that they don\'t know that duels are not expected to be accepted or even of any importance for PS. It surely sets a bad precedence in giving a completely wrong impression to new players.
-
Err..Golmir..I know him well. Yes he excercises his opinions strongly but I\'m guessing he was trying to tell you to stop randomly challenging. Though you are right, it gives him no reason to stalk you. He too should have contacted a GM in the first place, and filed his complaint.
But hey, you weren\'t exactly being an angel, were you?

How scary I thought the exact same thing right when I read the thread. 8o
Golmir got on my nerves once or twice back when I played MB but all he\'s trying to do is enforce the rules, though he doesn\'t do it in the best manner....
By the way I\'m guessing you\'re one of those guys running around callanging anything with a heart beat. Which in that case, I\'d be totally with golmir.

What is wrong in telling someone not to challenge newcomers?
What annoyed this one is that yesterday I said the same thing to him as he was acting the same way.
Today I warned the challenged people so they could decline a challenge by someone who trained only for that.
Of course, someone else would have accepted my when I challenged him so he could /train/ his melee. But he prefers to harrass the weak and helpless.
Bad news for you Kenti, and for all of your kind, the Defenders are here to protect newcomers.
OOC: have your pvp fun anywhere, but don\'t be surprised if a RPer asks you why you attack innocent travellers.
Good news for you, as you like training and leveling, the wipe will give you the oportunity to restart training.
Of course, you won\'t understand here what you did not understand in 2 days at the plaza. So, see you there tomorow suno

Well, then how about telling newcomers to turn on \"reject by default\" in duel
options? I think it is alot more RP to hunt stupid people who pay for their
stupidity, because they didn\'t even bothered to read Book of Survival in
Yliakum (players guide) on site and are clicking OK without even reading the
message. In real world such people are usually getting robbed because they
are going where they shouldn\'t go. If we look through RP these people are not
newbies, they are citizens of Yliakum, and those unreasonable who can\'t
recognize the menace are getting killed, robbed etc. So it is sort of OOC
stalking people and telling them to not attack others because they are
newbies...challenge him to avenge a newbie or make a guild war to defend
honour of citizens of Yliakum or your friends etc.
GMs are to defend interests of OOC groups like newbies, children, black
people, yellow people, white people, Polish, German, English etc. who are
Planeshift players so if you feel that GM ommited something important write a
petition or use /report command so we can get a log and have a heavy proof
that something bad to someone had been done. Making an inflammatory thread
on forum or stalking a person is not the way of solving problems here.
And definately I can\'t see nothing bad in challenging people unless someone
floods a person with challenge requests.
Regards.
