interested in having a part time or full time career in programming, designing, artisting, testing, writing well e-mail the following address, battletribes@yahoo.com.au.
Battle-Tribes is planned to be a free MMORPG created by the community of the world for the community of the world. What is Recruitment 05 well it\'s is Battle-Tribes first recruitment to call for programming, designing, artisting, testing, writing to help with this new game. We have a site set up but it is currently offline for construction.
Later when we are up and running properly we will be offering prizes on our forums for people to win. Members and staff will get excusive access to subsription areas later but it will come free to any user. But one thing members and staff get that normal people won\'t get will be rare weopons and armours.
I will later add a link to our site and forum but as I said they are unavailable for construction. If you require any information about this thread or any questions you may have e-mail battletribes@yahoo.com.au.

I don\'t know the first thing about programing nor do I care, but, I\'ve gotta say. Do you have any idea whatsoever about what you\'re doing? Making a game is quite a commitment you know.

Bad recruiting tactics. You can\'t ask people to join but not even be willing to give them the info they need. It\'s not like everyone\'s lining up at your door or something.

Well verideon, I am neither a good programmer nor am I good at arts but I can write a bit and yeah probably simple meshes
and yeah

if your talking about Runescape well I\'ll say that I am annoyed with pay members getting rare weopons and stuff but how else do games like that get people to suscribe to their game.

How are people going to make a career working for your project? You\'re going to pay them out of your own pockets? I sure hope you\'re rich, if nothing else.

lol, well I surely don\'t have no money to give no one. But I think most are working volunteering. later if we have enough sponserships we might bring in payments but otherwise it\'s volunteering so far.

Be nice to verideon, he\'s just trying to make a game. After all you do work for a company that is completly made up of volenteers(sp?) and look at how many people play planeshift. Well, how many people are waiting to play planeshift. :P

yes still no site. The site has been renovated but now the updates won\'t post over the original site settings, lol. You just can\'t never win can yah. About the info just e-mail battletribes@yahoo.com.au and you can get any additional information, ok peoplz ;)

ok peoples for your conveniancy I have set up Battle Tribes temporary forum. Here you can post any questions or if you still want to ask something privatly just contact battletribes@yahoo.com.au. Any people wanting to join just e-mail that same site and i\'ll send you the details sheet.
And also when you view or post in the forum can you sign in. It helps me with the visitors tally, tnxs ;)

Ok the Battle Tribes forum has been updated with new spaces. You can get forum spaces or even create your own Battle Tribes guild now. the is a non-topic area where youp ost anything as long as it\'s in the forums agreement when you sign up. We currently have 3 guilds so far with more coming in when the game is playable.

My verdict:
Game seems promising, a few new races-maybe you should try and get rid of the Humans, elfs, orcs ect. It seems to be in all mmorpgs lately.
Big question will it be FREE?
What i\'m really happy about is that your from Australia...does that meen its server is based here?
That would be like the first mmorpg ever in Australia :D
Any who i signed up to the forums...but im staying with PS for now :)

well if we axe out Humans, Elves, Orcs, Goblins, Dwarfs then we have a problem, we\'ll need new races. I\'m appointing Phinehas as person in charge of that area (see forum). Yes it would be the first MMORPG made in Australia that is why t is gonig to be special to Australia :D. It will be completly FREE!, everyone walk away from comp pull shirt over head shout yes and go back to comp ;).
No way is it a competition for time. lol we\'re waiting for a game called Battle Tribes and we need more members before we commmence :(. Hasn\'t been that long yet has it?

What program are you planning on using to make the game?
Hope you know what you are getting yourself into, making a game takes a lot of dedication. I have seen people trying to make their own online game before and usually after 2-3 months the project gets abandoned.

Indeed, this seems rather half-baked at the moment, but I think I\'m going to work with it. Heck, it\'ll be fun if nothing else...

i\'m going to be very onvloved as i\'m the Organiser and really want this game. it\'ll be fun when it begins (hopefully) :D. I\'ve been spending 4-5 months just planning i\'m not just abandoning it after that long, Honestly.

Well, if it lasts that long, then It will be longer than any project i\'ve ever worked on...
I might join if it\'s a serious project and there are at least a few other programmers to work with. If not i\'ll just have to go back to programming my command prompt web browser...[trails off mumbling about winsocket API]

well it may be a long project, may be medium long, I have no idea. This is gonig to be serious. As I said why would i waste 4-5 months on something that is going to be scrapped. well there will be others to work with.

Well its just I want to see that there are other people programming it as well, before I commit to anything. If im the only person programming something, then I might as well just take my code and make my own project. So ill probablly wait until the project has started, and then think about joining.

Ok peoples We currently have the Battle Tribes Site up after I nearly killed myslef, lol. http://www.freewebs.com/verideon/index.htm. This site is still under construction so please be patient. You\'ll also notice changes during the next few months. I have included an updates section for people who are interested in what we are doing as time goes by. The site also has a link to our forum but if you can\'t find it well it\'s located here http://1.myfreebulletinboard.com/battletribes.html. We also still currently have spare spaces on the team for Programmers, Graphic Designers, anyone practily if you can do anything for us. :D
