Why can\'t we set up a backup server now, and use it when the server\'s down?
What would the hosting requirements for such a server be? It could just mirror the databases from the real server - about 10gigs?
Then we could just boot it up when we got laanx down and keep playing.

I\'m not much of a computer expert, but unless theres a way to copy and paste something from one server to the next, then PS staff won\'t bother with recoding everything, adding updates to it, etc.

Mwahahah!!!
*is able to play PS when the server is down!

Keeping one server up to date is hard enough! :)
But we do have a secondary server on the Fragnetics server that we can setup. Right now it is to be used as a test server but depending on how quickly laanx resumes we may have to make other arrangements.

Remember, planeshift game runs better when server is turned on.
PS: Forget it, my 2nd post useless in 2 minutes. I\'ll better have a rest.
