ok when i do everthing it asks it comes back with No race sellected your creation choice was invalid

Please search around the forums for similar threads, this issue has been addressed numerous times before.

• Make sure the race you are selecting has an available player model.
• Go through the creation process as quickly as you can, without pressing the Back/Prev button.
• Try using the QuickPaths if regular creation doesn\'t work.
• Have some CP left over, otherwise, just in case.

still not working i went though it mailly useing random and then i tryed a premade one and it didnt work

ok i figgured out the game wouldnt let me because i had a ; insdea of an l in my name but then the game laged to death :( im gonna try again in a few miniuts

try turning off the sound using pssetup

hmmm that was my though too now im gonna go find the topic on how to fix it (disable sound)

ok i cant find it weres this pssetup o ya and if games could hate peopel this game SO hates me >:)

It\'s where you installed PlaneShift - usually in C:\\Program Files\\PlaneShift Crystal Blue, if you\'re on Windows. It can also be accessed through Start -> Programs -> PlaneShift Crystal Blue -> Planeshift Setup.

he well it worked though because  told it to install somewere else it wasnt were you said it was ok now sound is off...maby i sould have just set it to the type of sound card i have....

you could try that, but sound seems to cause many problems easier just to turn it all off.

hmm im trying to play but its hard to get started ...im looking for a rat \"spawn\"but i havent found any...and im trying to keep my lag at a minium and am figgureing out the controols but its workign and im HAPPY

Congrats! Now you are in game!

I think that at the beginning instead of running toward a rat spawn point (considering that a lot of people moves toward that) you could get used to all the possibile ways of interaction that Planeshift offers.
I am talking of getting used to the commands, chat window, what you can do and explore a little bit the environment.
Also, try to impersonate your character (PS is still a RPG) maybe trying to give a specific personality.
