i read that all characters will be deleted sometime soon. does that mean i should just wait instead of wasting time on a character that will be deleted anyways?

Yes, the wipe will come to be. If you want to wait, then go ahead. But this probably will not be the only wipe to come, so there is really no point. Besides, you are supposed to be here mainly for roleplay, which does not require skills and stats, so give the client a try - make some friends, join a guild, and form relationships that won\'t be \"wiped\" ;)

No time in PlaneShift is wasted, unless you\'re standing around doing nothing at all.

Jimmeh, the reason is stated during the loading of the world within game client, as well as in numerous threads in the forum. Please, use the search button next time. As for the wipe, it is to get rid of bugged/cheated accounts, and also to provide a more massive update to the clients.

PS: someone should really fix the search if it\'s required becuase it shows way to many nonrelated posts. And I mean really \"I don\'t get why it\'s even in the list\"unrelated a lot of the time

the way to improve the search results is, if you\'re really sure about what you\'re searching (that is you remember one word, or sentence perfectly and without doubts) just check \"match exact phrase\" it\'s an option down \"search for keyword\" box; and well, it works :D
