Title: backup server please

can you get a backup sever on-line soon please, i have been waiting all day, i didnt mind when this happened a week ago, but its a bit annoying when you want to play and it happens again.

hmm, the devs are prolly working their best to get it up, either that or they are doing nothing. whichever way it is you have to take it. why dont you go outside or read a book?

You know, I really don\'t see why the second server has to be made available just so you can satisfy your in-game urge. These things -happen-. You have to -deal- with them. Right now it appears as though you have absolutely nothing else to do in your life than play PlaneShift. And while I admit that it has become a sort of second home for me, there is a huge world outside of it, too, which deserves just as much attention, and often much more.

look, usually i wouldnt mind that much if the server was down, but today i had a day off school, and there was nothing to do. I get out alot, i go to parties heaps, im going on a trip to Egypt on the next hollies, but just today i had nothing to do, and i think thats fair enough.

EDIT: oh, by the way drey, i was reading for most of today, and got bored of it and felt like playing planeshift

I agree that it is frustrating.

Possibly while a solution is found write up some campaign/quest and submit it to the staff.  We all have had much time to ourselves.  

I built 2 axes, 4 arrows, 1 sword, and trained a few kids how to use these weapons.  Granted they are made of foam but we all had fun and now are ready for tomorrow... *hopes server is up then*... Until then let us be supportive and help in any way asked.

Look, Jimmeh,

Im sure you are extemely bored, but please dont make a thread asking the devs who have done a wonderful job so far and are working for free to set up a back-up server.  If they believe we need one then we will get one.  Basically you have to expect these types of things.  I was playing WoW not too long ago and their servers got shutdown for days because there was a problem detected.  It happens!!  The game will be back up soon enough... so dust off a console system for now :).

Not very often at all. In fact it\'s only gone down three times recently, and due to a faulty CPU fan more than anything else. It\'s up right now if you\'d like to give the game a try.

PS urge...hehe PS is good but not THAT good, yet ;) . Theres like a million other games out there as well.
And i can tell you that theres only around 50 or so players that are on PS at any given time. We wont be needing another server untill at least next year...
