Title: Gentoo ebuild stopped working!!

Okay, Well I was running fine with the gentoo.

Then Gentoo updated glibc and running planeshift gave glibc errors.

Ahh, I thought. emerge planeshift will do the trick.

BUT... It installed the old release, Molecular Blue!!

It says downloading/installing 0.3.10, but it\'s really MB!!

It\'s totally weird.

are you sure about this?  the default skin (CVS) is broken and uses the splashscreen from MB.  if you can run pssetup, try changing the skin.
