Title: mirrors....

i dont know where to post this, so i chose the general discussion

im currently living overseas and i have a crappy ISP...i was wondering if there are any west coast or overseas mirrors because each mirro i choose the KB/sec is 10 sec or less making the DL times rediculous...if there isnt, could anyone possibly give the devs a west coast/austrailian, or any kind of overseas mirror?

any help is appreciated, thx

I always hated torrents, they are like always deserted and give me .00001kbps....

Anyways, welcome to planeshift! The game is still in the beta of the alpha stage so don\'t expect so much from it just yet.

Torrents? i downloaded whole client(220MB) from bit torrent and it gave me maximum speed that my Net is capable of operating at.
I don\'t know if it\'s slow now. I downloaded 4 months ago.

That tends to happen when you leave Bittorrent at the default configuration settings.  :p

You\'d be surprised how often people continue to use Bittorrent with the default configuration and they get incrediablly slow downloads and then they go totally bonkers when they see how fast I am downloading from the same torrent or even one with less seeds.
